Reflecting on Perfection

Perfection. It’s always what I’ve striven for with this company. Flawless in every way, whether it’s vehicle cleanliness (not a single water spot on the paint, or speck of dirt on the floormat), never arriving late, or planning the perfect wine tour. I take an enormous amount of pride in our perfect 5 star rating across all platforms. However…

Perfection is unattainable. It’s not possible, and it has crushed me when something didn’t go perfectly. I worked myself into a mental breakdown this last year, trying to be all things to all people. That was the come to Jesus moment, realizing that I had to strike a balance between striving for perfection, and then if necessary responding appropriately in moments when everything didn’t go as planned. While extremely rare, those moments have included a dirty car, late arrival, arrival at the WRONG location, forgotten water bottles, music on the wrong station, or vehicle temperature at something other than 71 degrees exactly (name that pop culture reference). Heck even this blog post sat here for a year waiting to be “perfected”. That being said, I will ALWAYS do my best to deliver the perfect ride.
